This album is an amazing combination of that raw, unrelenting aggression found in bands like dioclecian, kerasphorus and the like, but with actual death metal groove sensibilities. Massive Retaliation is miles ahead of the pack, and take it from me, the live show is fucking insane.

Metallurgical Fire Averserio and Warrior are behind Death Fortress, one of my favorite current bands, and a bunch of underground New Jersey metal. I love this album as one of the best examples of lo-fi DIY death metal out there. It pummels you into submission. I love the drums on this, and on the Death Fortress albums. Siege Column is another band from this scene to check out. Favorite track: Armored Eraser.

Brennan Chowder If Bolt Thrower recorded another grindcore album after being locked in a room with only Diocletian and Revenge, this is what you would hear. Yes it’s as fucking amazing as that sounds. Favorite track: Armored Eraser.

Riley Kesselring the relentless aggression, the wailing, bloodlusted guitar freak-outs, the delicious guitar and bass tone... its all good. Favorite track: Suffer In Fire.
